The CME Lean Hog Index was $80.69 on 12/27, which was up by $2.09.
Pork cutout futures are UNCH for most of the contracts, save for a $1.32 drop in Feb. USDA’s National Pork Carcass Cutout value was 80 cents lower on Thursday morning at $87.87. Federally inspected hog slaughter was reported as 991,000 head for the week through Wednesday.
