Western Areas Ltd, formerly Western Areas NL was incorporated in December 1999. The Company is engaged in mining, processing and sale of nickel sulphide concentrate, feasibility and development of the high grade nickel mines and the exploration for nickel sulphides, other base metals and platinum group metals. It has two underground nickel mines namely Flying Fox and Spotted Quoll both located in Western Australia.
