JSC Uralkali was incorporated as an open joint stock company in the Russian Federation on October 14, 1992. The Company is engaged in extraction, production and sales of mineral fertilizers potassium based, which are extracted and processed in the vicinity of the city of Berezniki, Russia, and which are distributed both on domestic and foreign markets. It mines and produces potash which is added to the soil directly in the form of powder or granules as well as used for the manufacture of compound fertilisers and in some other industries.
