Protext Mobility, Inc., a Delaware corporation was incorporated on September 5, 2001 under the name Echo Metrix, Inc. Subsequently, on May 6, 2009, the its name was changed to Protext Mobility, Inc. The Company develops, markets and sells software products and solutions for the internet and mobile communications markets aimed at protecting children from danger on the internet and in mobile communication. It has three products, one for PCs and two for mobile communications devices. Its products include SafeText and DriveAlert parental management products for use with mobile communications devices and Family Safe Parental Controls product for use on the internet. AmberWatch SafeText is a subscription service for parents, which is marketed direct-to-consumer through an exclusive branding with the AmberWatch Foundation. The application empowers parents to keep their children safe by providing effective and comprehensive safeguards against text and social-based communications. SafeText is offered in two configurations, a network-based and a device-based solution. Drive Alert is a mobile application to combat the serious issue of distracted driving. It automatically detects when a smartphone user is driving and sets the phone into 'DriveAlert' mode. FamilySafe Parental Controls product offers software products designed to provide a comprehensive and an effective solution in protecting children using PCs from dangers on the Internet.
