TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Co ASA is a public limited company incorporated in Norway on 21 August 1996. The Company provides multi-client geoscience data to oil and gas Exploration and Production companies. In addition to extensive geophysical and geological data libraries that include multi-client seismic data, magnetic and gravity data, digital well logs, production data and directional surveys, it also offers advanced processing and imaging services, interpretation products, permanent reservoir monitoring and data integration solutions. Its reporting structure is broken down into the geographic areas forming the operating segments, North and South America (NSA), Europe and Russia (EUR) and Africa, Middle East and Asia/Pacific (AMEAP). The Company is comprised of four core product lines which provide valuable data and resources to the exploration and production efforts of its customers. The four product lines are Multi-Client Geophysical Data, Multi-Client Geological Data, Imaging Services and Reservoir Solutions. The Multi-Client Geophysical Data product line provides multi-client seismic data. In addition, it also licenses gravity, magnetics, seep, geothermal core data, controlled source electromagnetic and multi-beam data. The Multi-Client Geological Data product line is composed of a series of well data products, interpretive studies and services that are licensed or used by oil companies to aid in the search for hydrocarbons. The Imaging service product line has developed proprietary technology, expertise and resources. It processes both 2D and 3D data, with products and services which include depth and time imaging, marine, land, ocean bottom cable and nodes, transition zone processing, WAZ data processing and anisotropic imaging. The Reservoir Solutions product line provides advanced Permanent Reservoir Monitoring solutions enabling increased production and recoverable reserves. The Company's proprietary Stingray PRM system provides operators high quality, cost-effective and repeatable seismic on demand in all field scenarios including well zones, deep water and obstructed areas.
