Transact Energy Corp (TEGY)

Transact Energy Corp is a Nevada corporation, incorporated in March 15, 2006. The Company's activities have been limited to developing and writing its business plan and the purchase of an oil and gas lease. On September 7, 2006 it acquired 100% interest in a Petroleum and Natural Gas Lease from the province of Alberta, Canada. It is an independent energy company engaged in the acquisition and management of natural gas and oil rights in the United States and Canada. The Company's main business activities include the identification, acquisition, and subsequent contracting out for exploration and development of natural gas and oil properties. The Company's emphasis is on prospective deep structures identified through seismic and other analytical techniques. It seeks to reduce exploration risk and financial exposure by acquiring properties that have wells previously drilled in close proximity or into the targeted geologic horizons, joint venturing with knowledgeable industry partners or by farming out acreage to other industry participants on terms that reduce its economic risk to levels deemed appropriate. The Company's natural gas and petroleum activities take place in a highly competitive and speculative business atmosphere.
