Tricon Capital Group, Inc. was incorporated in June 1997 under the Business Corporations Act (Ontario). The Company with its subsidiaries invest for investment income and capital appreciation through its Principal Investment business segments and earn fee income through its Private Funds and Advisory business in the U.S. and Canada. In the Principal Investment business, the Company is focused on related business lines that primarily invest in residential property: Single-Family rental (SFR), and land and homebuilding. In the Private Funds and Advisory business, the Company manages and originates investments through private comingled funds and separate investment accounts that participate in the development of real estate in North America by providing equity-type financing to developers. The Company is focused on four major geographic markets in Canada (Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver) and six major geographic markets or regions in the United States ( Northern California; Southern California; Dallas and Houston, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona; Atlanta, Georgia; and South Florida).
