Swire Pacific Ltd was founded in 1816. The Company is a limited liability company incorporated in Hong Kong. The Company through its subsidiaries operates in five operating divisions: Property, Aviation, Beverages, Marine Services and Trading & Industrial. The Property division develops and manages office, retail, hotel and residential properties, with a particular emphasis on mixed-use developments in prime locations in Hong Kong and Mainland China. The division's business comprises of three main areas: Property Investment, Hotel Investment and Property Trading. The Aviation division comprises significant investments in the Cathay Pacific group and the Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company. The Beverages division has the exclusive right to manufacture, market and distribute products of The Coca-Cola Company in Hong Kong, Taiwan, seven provinces in Mainland China and an extensive area of the western USA. It manufactures over 56 beverage brands. The division has two wholly-owned franchise businesses, in Taiwan and the USA, and two majority owned franchise businesses in Hong Kong and Fujian province of Mainland China. The Marine Services division, through the Swire Pacific Offshore group, operates a fleet of offshore support vessels servicing the energy industry in every major offshore production and exploration region outside the Americas. The Trading & Industrial division retails and distributes apparel and motor vehicles, as well as is engaged in sugar and paint businesses.
