Sirius Minerals PLC was incorporated on October 30, 2003. The Company is a potash development company. It is engaged in acquiring and developing properties with exploration and mining potential. The Company is organised into three business divisions: resource evaluation and exploration, environmental solutions and corporate operations. The Company's York Potash Project produces Polyhalite, a multi-nutrient mineral containing four of the six macro-nutrients required for plant growth which include potassium, sulphur, magnesium and calcium.
