PP London Sumatra Indonesia was established on December 18th, 1962. The Company completed its initial public offering on June 7, 1996. The Company classifies its business activities into four business segments,consisting of oil palm products, rubber, seeds andothers. The business includes plant breeding, planting, harvesting, processing and the selling of palm products, rubber, seeds, cocoa and tea. It has processing facilities which are operational in Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan and Sulawesi. Lonsum is also known in the industry for the quality of its oil palm seeds, at this business is now part of the growth drivers for the Company. The main products are crude palm oil and rubber, and small quantities of cocoa, tea and seeds. Its plantation business is located in North Sumatera, South Sumatera, Java, East Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, and South Sulawesi with a total planted area of 110,579 hectares as of December 31st, 2013.
