Pt Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (PITPF)

PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk was established on January 16, 1985. The Company had its initial public offering on December 5, 1989. It is a cement manufacturer and owns subsidiaries that produces ready-mix concretes, as well as manages aggregates and trass mining. It has 12 plants, nine of them located in Citeureup, Bogor, West Java; two of them located in Palimanan, Cirebon, West Java, and another plant is located in Tarjun, Kotabaru, South Kalimantan. As of 31 December 2013, its annual installed design capacity amounted to 18.6 million tons of cement, 4.4 million cubic meters of RMC, with 40 batching plants and 648 mixer trucks, as well as 2.5 million tons of aggregates reserves. The Company divides its business into three segments: cements, RMC, and aggregates. All of the Company's plants are dry-process plants with precalciner rotary kilns producing OPC clinker as well as OPC and PCC cements. Plant 5 in Citeureup produces White Cement clinker, White Cement and Oil Well Cement. Plant 2 in Citeureup can also produce Type II and Type V clinker. The raw materials to produce clinker are limestone, clay and iron oxide. Clinker is mixed with gypsum and alternative raw materials in the finishing grinding into cement. In its distribution system the Company has developed new routes of train for cement distribution. The new route serves Nambo, Bogor to Kalimas, Surabaya twice a day utilizing 20 cars that can load up to 1,600 tons of cement per day. Nambo is located two kilometers from the Citeureup Factory. It has also added a new route from Arjawinangun, Cirebon to Wangon, Banyumas via Purwokerto. The Company complies with prevailing laws and regulations relevant to its business.
