The Company along with its subsidiaries is engaged in operating five segments including steelmaking, engineering & construction, chemicals, new materials, and system solutions. The steelmaking and steel fabrication segment is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of steel products. The engineering & construction segment is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of industrial machinery and equipment as well as steel structures, also performs construction works under contract, waste processing and recycling, and supplies electricity, gas and heat. The chemicals segment is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of coal-based chemical products, petrochemicals and electronic materials. The new materials segment is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of materials for semiconductors and electronic parts, carbon fiber and composite products, and products that apply technologies for metal processing and joining. The system solutions segment provides computer systems engineering and consulting services. The Company's products portfolio includes plate, flat products, bar & wire rod, construction products, pipe & tube, railway automotive & machinery parts, and stainless steel.
