Metsa Board Corp is Finland-based paper and paperboard producer, established on 31 December 1986. The Company manufactures and sells folding boxboard, coated white-top kraftliners and supplies paper. The Company offers premium solutions for consumer and retail packaging, graphics and office end-uses. The Company's sales network serves brand owners, carton printers, corrugated packaging manufacturers, printers, merchants and office product suppliers. Its Paperboard segment is a supplier of high performance paperboards and related packaging services. The segment serves carton printers, converters, brand owners and merchants for end-uses such as beauty care, cigarettes, consumer durables, foods, healthcare, graphics and wall coverings. The Paper and Pulp segment is a European office paper and coated paper producer which markets and sells premium uncoated fine papers to companies, offices and paper merchants. Coated papers are sold to Sappi according to a long-term contract. Paper and Pulp's products are used for printing and copying, as well as for forms, envelopes, manuals and various business communications. The segment also includes external sales of chemical pulp and BCTMP. Paperboard segment includes the Kemi, Kyro, Simpele, Tako and Aanekoski board mills, Kyro wallpaper base machine and Joutseno BCTMP mill located in Finland as well as Gohrsmuhle mill in Germany. The segment includes Husum paper and pulp mill in Sweden, Alizay mill in France and Kaskinen BCTMP mill in Finland.
