International Power Group Ltd was incorporated November 30, 1998 in the state of Delaware as Ednet, Inc. Its name was changed to International Power Group, Ltd. on September 23, 2004. The Company's business plan is to locate, finance, build and operate WTE facilities for governmental entities and others charged with the disposal of municipal, commercial, industrial and certain hazardous wastes. The Company expects that this processing would produce marketable electricity, potable water and components in construction materials including cement and roadbeds. It intends to focus on municipalities that have waste handling and land fill problems and areas that could benefit from potable water and additional electricity production. The marketing strategies include direct contact with government officials and producers and handlers of waste. Integral to these methods is the development of identification for coupled with increasing awareness of the target markets in the financial, ecological and tactical advantages of WTE technology. The Company has access to components and technologies that incinerate solid waste and hazardous waste at high temperatures. The incinerator produces steam, which drives a turbine, which produces electricity and condenses the steam into water. The electricity and steam drive further processes which scrub smokestack air emissions, produce potable water, ash and enough excess electricity to sell. The Company anticipates three income streams, waste disposal 'tipping fees', the sale of electricity and the sale of potable water. The Company plans to build plants that are comprised of lines or modules. The Company recently purchased proprietary patented technologies, including Add-Power, a low temperature turbine and ScrubPower, a emission-to-energy system, from three Swedish entities - Anovo AB Angelholm, Add-Power AB Angelholm and SUPE Ltd. The Company would be subject to air, water and other environmental regulations and would need to obtain a number of environmental permits to construct and operate WTE facilities.
