Huhtamäki Oyj is a manufacturer of consumer and specialty packaging. The Company offers standardized products, customized designs as well as total packaging systems and solutions. Its business is diversified into 5 segments: Flexible Packaging, Films, North America, Molded Fiber, and Foodservice Europe-Asia-Oceania. Flexible packaging is used for a wide range of consumer products including food, pet food, hygiene and health care products. Films are mainly used for technical applications in the label, adhesive tape, hygiene and health care industries, as well as building and construction, automotive, packaging and graphic arts industries. North America includes rigid paper and plastic and molded fiber businesses in North America and Mexico. Rough molded fiber is used to make fresh product packaging, such as egg and fruit packaging. Foodservice paper and plastic disposable tableware is supplied to foodservice operators, fast food restaurants and coffee shops. Its customers are food and beverage companies, manufacturers of other fast-moving consumer products (non-food), foodservice operators, fresh produce packers and retailers.
