Hedgebrook formerly known as ecoSolutions International was originally incorporated as '360 Interchange, Inc.' under the laws of the State of Oregon on July 24, 2004. On January 3, 2005, it was reincorporated under the laws of the State of Nevada and then changed its name to 'ecoSolutions International' on March 17, 2008 to reflect its current business focus. The Company is presently focusing on building a brand around its suite of eco-friendly solutions and products, including its ecoPlastic(tm), ecoFoam(tm) and ecoWrap(tm) product lines, and co-brand opportunities with its customers. Additionally, with the product offerings, relative to more conventional players in the bioplastics space, the Company offers environmentally friendly solutions. The Company sources products from overseas, selling to various retailers, distributors or manufacturing customers located in the United States or overseas. The Company's product sourcing has originated from Asia, with product categories of wood flooring products and foam products such as yoga mats and flooring underlayment. The Company has developed business arrangements with certain Asian manufacturers to market and sell eco-friendly products, focusing on selling plastic alternatives to polyvinyl chloride (PVC). While the Company's competitors in the bioplastics space are focusing almost on bioplastics where the practical applications have so far been limited, the Company intends to develop and market products that provide immediate solutions to ecological and health issues. Generally, the suite of products and materials could be classified into one of three categories, which the Company market under its ecoPlastic(tm) , ecoFoam(tm) or ecoWrap(tm) brands: Correlative Products are next-step solutions, making a big impact on reducing the volume of materials in production that are more damaging to the environment and personal health. Enriched Products. provide material performance gains as well as 'green' performance. Overall Sustainability Products represents products that improve the overall sustainability of the materials they are replacing by using technology that builds upon the other two categories. Some of the Company's competitors in the pure bioplastics market include Metabolix, Cereplast and NatureWorks LLC. Other competitors are Bioenvelop, EarthShell Corp., EverCorn, Inc., National Starch Company, Novamount, StarchTech, Inc., VTT Chemical Technology, Fkur Kunststoffe, NODAX, and Perf Go Green Holdings, Inc.
