Eos Petro Inc was incorporated in Nevada on May 9, 1996. The Company along with its subsidiaries is engaged in the business of acquiring, exploring and developing oil and gas-related assets. Its operations are in Nigeria, Ghana, and in Illinois. In Illinois, the work property is located in Edwards County. The Company will be drilling 10 wells over the next three years to develop the Bethel and Aux Vases sands as well as the McClosky, Salem and Warsaw lime formations. In Ghana, the Company, along with its subsidiary, Plethora-Bay Oil & Gas Ltd filed an application with its technical partner, DCOR U.S.A, to acquire a total offshore acreage position of 1.8 million acres. In the Bilabri Field, in Nigeria, the Company is focused to re-enter into the existing Bilabri DX-1 well and vertical drilling of two new additional production wells, D5 and D7 completing the oil zones by way of installing the sub-sea equipment and flow lines, hook-up of the flow lines to an FPSO, and putting the oil field into production. The Company is subject to a number of international, foreign, federal, state and local environmental, health and safety laws and regulations governing matters including the emission and discharge of pollutants into the ground, air or water; the generation, storage, handling, use and transportation of regulated materials; and the health and safety of employees.
