Peter Mooses is a Series 3 licensed proprietary trader and market analyst with more than 15 years of experience in the financial industry and 12 years trading futures and options. Peter specializes in fundamental and technical market analysis, trading strategy, and risk management across a variety of markets including equities, agriculture, currencies, energies, treasuries, indices, metals, softs and VIX. 

He is a respected thought leader, and a regular spokesperson and contributor to various media outlets including:  barchart, CNBC, Dow Jones Business News, Financial Times, Fox Business, Morningstar, Reuters and The Wall Street Journal. 

Peter spent more than ten years as a futures trader and senior commodity market strategist at futures commission merchant R.J. O’Brien where he advised clients -- including corporate, institutional, food companies, farmers and high-net-worth individuals – on trading and risk management strategies.

Prior to that, he managed multi-million dollar institutional and corporate loan portfolios and led a team through multiple acquisitions of the asset-backed securities and collateralized debt obligations divisions of several large banks – including ABN AMRO LaSalle Bank, Bank of America | Merrill Lynch, and U.S. Bank.  

Peter began his career with Bunge as an intern on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade. He is a sports fanatic and memorabilia collector, and in his spare time he coaches various community youth athletics programs.
