How to Use IV Rank and IV Percentile to Help With Your Options Trading
Webinar Description
Today's options trader has a multitude of options strategies to choose from depending on different market scenarios. But which one should you use, and when should you employ them? Barchart's IV Rank & Percentile page allows options traders a quick look at high daily option volumes of stocks, ETFs, and indices to determine if the "at the money" implied volatility is relatively "High" or "Low." Using this measurement, you can then decipher if these options are overpriced or undervalued, and can determine which strategy is best suited for those conditions.
Join Barchart's John Rowland as he explains the aspects of implied volatility, and how to decipher the high and low relative to a security's IV rank and percentile. John will also give you tips on how to determine the best options strategies that can be used to take advantage of these different scenarios. Subject to be discussed include Barchart's "IV Rank and Percentile" page, credit and debit options strategies, chart analysis, and a trader's insight to option volatility.
