Using Multiple Time Frame Analysis for Better Trading Entries
Webinar Description
Multiple time frame analysis has been a mainstay with floor traders for decades. Using multiple time frames allows traders to better time entries using shorter periods of time while also keeping an eye on longer-term trends such as daily and weekly periods. The key to successful trend trading is recognizing and capitalizing on longer-term trends. Likewise, the key to successful risk management is to risk as little as possible to gain as much as possible. Using multiple time frames offers a trader the benefits of identifying higher probability trends while also reducing risk exposure by entering trades at the best time.
In this week's session, John Rowland, Barchart's Head of Trading Education and former floor trader, offers his perspective on multiple time frame analyses. John will discuss what technical analysis tools work better for short-term risk management and timing trade entries and which are better at discovering and confirming higher time frame trends. John will also share his philosophy on analyzing trades from different perspectives and how multiple time frame analysis is essential to successfully navigating volatile markets.
In this webinar, you will learn about:
- Technical analysis studies such as ADX and RSI
- Developing your own Multiple Time Frame Analysis Plan
- Navigating Barchart's Studies and Tools with Charts
