Dallas, Texas, May 03, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CompX International Inc. (NYSEAmerican:CIX) announced today sales of $42.1 million for the first quarter of 2022 compared to $35.9 million in the same period of 2021. Operating income was $6.3 million in the first quarter of 2022 compared to $5.8 million in the first quarter of 2021. Net income was $5.0 million, or $.40 per basic and diluted common share, for the first quarter of 2022 compared to $4.7 million, or $.38 per basic and diluted common share, in the same period of 2021.
