Content Panels
A panel is simply a reserved area that is placed on your workspace and holds specific market data content. Each panel has its own properties and characteristics. Panels include:

Panels may be temporarily opened for viewing, or you may open a panel and add it to your current workspace. Workspaces can contain an unlimited number of panels.
Note: Two panels, the Symbol Search and Historical Data, can only be opened for temporary viewing and cannot be added to a workspace.
