Comparison Charts

A Comparison chart allows you to enter up to four different symbols to overlay onto the chart's base symbol for price and trend comparisons. The result is one chart with the price data of all the symbols represented.

Comparison charts can display the price scales of each symbol, or you can choose to produce a chart of percent changes between symbols. Each symbol is represented by a different color on the chart.

Add a Comparison

  1. Click the Settings button on the top right of the chart, and select Comparisons.

Right-click on the chart and select Comparisons.
Result: The Symbol Comparisons dialog box appears.
  2. Enter up to four symbols for comparison, choosing a color for the symbol from the lost shown.
  3. If you want the data to be represented as the percent change from each other, check the Percentage Comparison box.
  4. Click OK when done.
