Initial Production and Yield Forecasts for Corn and Soybeans Now Available!

Wish you were more prepared for upcoming WASDE reports? Look no further, Barchart is here to help. Our initial 2021 Yield and Production forecasts for U.S. corn and soybeans are now available..and they both indicate downside risk to the USDA’s projected figures from May’s WASDE report.

Released for free to the public on the first Tuesday of each month during the growing season, and available to clients through daily updates, our Crop Production and Yield Forecasts allow users to get insights to guide their business decisions ahead of the traditional USDA WASDE report.

Barchart’s end of season U.S. corn production is forecast at 14.4B bu with a yield of 173.2 bu/ac, which compares to the USDA’s 15.0B bu of production and 179.5 bu/ac yield. Our end of season U.S. soybean production is forecast at 4.3B bu with a yield of 49.3 bu/ac, which compares to the USDA’s 4.4B bu of production and 50.8 bu/ac yield.
