Barchart is excited to announce the launch of eSign for Agvantage ERP users within their elevator-branded apps!   This new feature compliments the full integration of AgVantage’s grain accounting data (contracts, scale tickets, and more) and helps to simplify workflows between agribusinesses and producers.

eSign allows grain merchandisers to send ready-for-signing contracts to their producers who will get a push notification on their iOS or Android device. Producers can then sign and return the contract, all without leaving their elevator’s branded app.

eSignatures are legally acceptable for grain sale / purchase contracts and have the advantage of a full audit trail and document management features that are part of the digital signing process.

Grain merchandisers can simply send execution-ready contracts to their producers, who are notified by a push notification to their iOS or Android device. All signing can be done virtually, and doesn’t require any printing or filing.  

Not only does the introduction of digital contract signing improve the workflow for agribusinesses, but it helps to digitize grain operations at the farm level; resulting in increased efficiency, productivity, and sustainability.
