Wajax Corp was incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act, is the successor to Wajax Income Fund and was formed on 3rd February, 2010. The Company, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the sale, rental and after-sales part and service support of mobile equipment and components to a customer base which spans natural resources, construction, transportation, manufacturing, industrial processing and utilities. Its core businesses activities includes the distribution, rental, modification and servicing of mobile equipment; the distribution, rental and servicing of engines, transmissions and power generators for on-highway, off-highway and electrical power generation applications; and the distribution, servicing, custom design and assembly of industrial components, such as bearings, power transmission equipment, pumps and hydraulic systems, and process equipment for in-plant applications and original equipment manufacturers. Its segments include Equipment, Power Systems and Industrial Components. The Company's Equipment business has a coast to coast network of 35 sales and service branches in Canada. It distributes, rents and modifies mobile equipment and provides after sales parts and service support to various industries including construction, materials handling, forestry, mining, government, oil and gas, utilities and manufacturing. It also provides support to customers seeking financial services related to their purchases. The Power Systems business operates through a network of 27 branches across Canada, including an extensive dealer network. Its primary markets are oil and gas, transportation, commercial and governmental industries, mining, marine and construction. The Industrial Components conducts business across Canada through a network of 64 branches, serving various industries including oil and gas, industrial processing, mining, forestry products and primary metals. The Company competes with John Deere, Komatsu, Caterpillar, Cummins and among others.
