The clay and limestone are then pre-homogenized, a process which consists of combining different types of clay and limestone. It owns the registered trademarks for its brands in Mexico, such as 'Tolteca,' 'Monterrey,' 'Maya,' 'Anahuac,' 'Campana,' 'Gallo,' and 'Centenario.' The Company's competitors includes Lafarge Tarmac, Heidelberg, Aggregate Industries ,Hope Construction Materials , Dyckerhoff, Holcim, Schwenk Lafarge, Italcementi and Vicat. The Company's operations are subject to laws and regulations relating to the protection of the environment in the various jurisdictions in which it operates, such as regulations regarding the release of cement dust into the air or emissions of greenhouse gases.
