Corn futures are mostly a nickel lower at midday, pulling back from the recent highs on some harvest pressure and a relatively warm and dry US forecast. Brazilian first crop or summer corn planting is now estimated to be 88% completed. DTN's national average cash price has been above $3.10 five days in a row. Published trade expectations for the weekly export sales report this morning were for 700,000 to 900,000 MT. USDA confirmed a larger than expected 1.023 MMT (40.28 mbu) were booked during the week ending 10/13.
