The race to build the future of software is accelerating, and some of the biggest numbers in technology are now showing up around AI coding.
SpaceX, for example, has acquiredhas acquired AI coding platform Cursor forfor $60 billion valuation, the largest venture capital exit EVER. the largest venture capital exit EVER. But as billions pour into the companies building AI coding agents, another opportunity may be emerging underneath them.
Rather than trying to build the next Cursor, Claude Code or Copilot, Bito is building the intelligence layer designed to make all of them better.
It's a classic picks-and-shovels strategy for the AI boom, and for a limited time, eligible individual investors have an opportunity to invest in Bito through its Wefunder campaign.
Giving AI Coding Agents a “Brain”
AI coding agents are becoming remarkably good at writing code. But enterprise software presents a much bigger challenge.
A large organization might have millions of lines of code spread across hundreds of interconnected systems. An AI agent changing one component needs to understand what that change could break somewhere else.
Bito's flagship product, AI Architect, creates a continuously updated map of that software environment, including code, architecture, documentation, development history, and business context. That intelligence can then be used by coding agents including Cursor, Claude Code and Codex.
The early numbers are attention-grabbing.
In an independent SWE-Bench Pro evaluation cited by Bito, adding AI Architect increased Claude Opus 4.6's task success rate from 51.9% to 70.1%, while reducing token costs by 47%. Bito also reports a 4.5X improvement on complex tasks involving 10 or more files.
Those gains could matter enormously as corporations begin deploying AI agents across increasingly complex software systems.
Built by Founders Who Have Done It Before
Bito also comes with something many early-stage AI companies don't have: founders with experience building companies at significant scale.
CEO and co-founder Amar Goel was the founder and original CEO of PubMatic, the advertising technology company that later went public on Nasdaq and reached a peak valuation of approximately $4 billion. CTO Anand Das also co-founded PubMatic and later served as CTO of Eyeota, which was acquired by Dun & Bradstreet.
Bito has already raised more than $10 million from institutional investors and high-net-worth angels, with backers including Eniac Ventures, NextView Ventures, NGP Capital and Vela Partners.
And the technology is already moving into large-scale environments. The company says it is in trials with multiple Fortune 50 customers, processing tens of millions of lines of code. One customer, Privado, reportedly used AI Architect to compress a project expected to take 7–10 days into roughly five hours of working time.
The investment thesis is straightforward: there may be many winners in AI coding, but they could all need better context.
Bito wants to provide it.
