A $39 energy drink is getting attention, but it isn’t what put Barron Trump in the nine-figure wealth conversation. The bigger money story is crypto—and a family venture that has generated a fortune on paper.
Barron Trump, the 20-year-old son of President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump, was estimated to be worth about $150 million in a Forbes analysis published in October 2025. The estimate put him ahead of his mother, whose fortune Forbes valued at roughly $20 million at the time.
Crypto Did the Heavy Lifting
Most of the reported wealth comes from World Liberty Financial, the Trump family’s cryptocurrency venture.
Forbes estimated that the project had added more than $1.5 billion to the family’s wealth and, based on an assumed 10% share for Barron, estimated his stake at about $150 million.

That calculation included after-tax proceeds from token sales, an interest in the project’s USD1 stablecoin, and a discounted value assigned to locked WLFI tokens that weren’t freely tradable.
So the figure represents an estimated value of his holdings, not $150 million sitting in cash.
The Energy Drink Is a Separate Bet
Barron is also listed as a director of SOLLOS, a Palm Beach-based yerba mate company launched with a group of friends from South Florida.
Its first product, Pineapple + Coconut, contains 120 milligrams of natural caffeine from organic Brazilian yerba mate. A 12-pack sells for $39, or $3.25 a can.
SOLLOS has leaned into its Florida roots, describing itself as a brand “built around the Florida lifestyle.” The company has also raised about $1 million in private funding, according to an SEC filing.
There is no public valuation or revenue figure for SOLLOS, so there’s no basis for saying the beverage company meaningfully contributed to the reported $150 million.
Ahead of Mom, at Least According to Forbes’ Numbers
Forbes valued Melania’s fortune at about $20 million in the same analysis, putting Barron ahead of his mother by that measure.
Other estimates of Melania’s wealth have been higher, which makes the comparison dependent on the specific Forbes figures.
The larger takeaway is how unusual the reported wealth picture is for someone who is only 20. His estimated fortune is tied primarily to a family-backed cryptocurrency venture, while his beverage company is a much newer entrepreneurial project.
The energy drink may cost $39 a case, but crypto is doing the heavy lifting behind Barron’s reported fortune.
