Cotton futures are trading with 60 to 66 point losses so far on Monday. Crude oil is up $3.44 per barrel, with the US dollar index $0.232 higher.
The Seam reported 246 bales sold on the August 7 sale, with an average price of 81.82 cents. The Cotlook A Index was up 20 points on 8/7 to 93.70 cents. ICE certified cotton stocks were steady on Friday, with the certified stocks level at 84,632 bales. The Adjusted World Price was raised by 163 points last week to 66.29 cents/lb.
