The HIV and hepatitis C drugmaker posted revenue of $7.08 billion in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $6.95 billion.
Gilead expects full-year earnings in the range of $7.95 to $8.25 per share.
