On a per-share basis, the Milwaukee-based company said it had net income of 94 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 83 cents per share.
The investment management firm posted revenue of $282.8 million in the period.
Artisan Partners shares have risen 6.5% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $45.84, an increase of roughly 7% in the last 12 months.
