Prepared tofu made of soybeans
With limited developments on the news wires, soybean futures are trading fractionally to 2 cents higher in new crop and 3 1/4 to 4 1/4 cents higher in the front months. Meal prices are up by $1 to $1.70/ton so far. BO prices are adding another 45 to 66 points to the upside through midday.Â
USDA reported a large export sale of 110k MT of soybeans to China this morning.Â
Brazil’s National Energy Policy Council decide to keep the mandatory 10% biodiesel blend through March 31 – with an anticipated increase to a 15% blend beginning in April.Â
Jan 23 Soybeans  are at $14.34, up 4 1/4 cents,
Nearby Cash  is at $14.11 7/8, up 4 1/4 cents,
Mar 23 Soybeans  are at $14.40 1/4, up 3 3/4 cents,
May 23 Soybeans  are at $14.47, up 3 1/2 cents,
