Company Info

Bluefire Renewables Inc

Description:

Bluefire Renewables Inc is a Nevada corporation that was initially organized as Atlanta Technology Group, Inc., a Delaware corporation, on October 12, 1993. The Company develops, owns and operates carbohydrate-based transportation fuel plants, or bio-refineries, to produce ethanol and other high end biofuels, which are viable alternatives to fossil fuels, and to provide professional services to bio-refineries. The Company has licensed for use the Arkenol Technology, a patented process from Arkenol to produce ethanol from cellulose for sale into the transportation fuel market. The Company is the exclusive North America licensee of the Arkenol Technology. Arkenol Technology positions it as a cellulose-to-ethanol company with demonstrated production of ethanol from urban trash (post-sorted MSW), rice and wheat straws, wood waste and other agricultural residues. The Companys goal is to develop and operate high-value carbohydrate-based transportation fuel production facilities in North America, and to provide professional services to such facilities worldwide. These bio refineries will convert widely available, inexpensive, organic materials such as agricultural residues, high-content biomass crops, wood residues, and cellulose from MSW into ethanol.
