Jim Wyckoff
Jim Wyckoff has spent 40 years involved full-time with the stock, financial, currency and commodity markets. He was a financial journalist with the FWN newswire service for many years (now called Dow Jones Newswires), including stints as a markets reporter on the commodity/financial futures trading floors in Chicago and New York. As a journalist/analyst Jim has covered virtually every major market traded at one time or another.
Jim is presently the senior markets analyst for Kitco Metals, a consultant with Pro Farmer/Farm Journal and has been a commodity market writer/analyst for many international publications, including Forbes, Futures magazine, The Wall Street Journal and TheStreet.com. Jim was also the head equities analyst at CapitalistEdge.com in the late 1990s. He received his degree from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, where he studied journalism and economics. Jim resides at Lake Panorama in Panora, Iowa.
