Patrick Sanders
Patrick Sanders is an experienced financial writer and editor who specializes in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and the technology, financial, real estate, and consumer sectors. He follows a Warren Buffett-inspired approach to investing, focusing on value strategies and selecting quality companies to hold for the long term.
Before becoming a full-time financial journalist and analyst, he was a news editor for The Associated Press, the founding managing editor of The New York Times Editing Center, and an assistant managing editor for investing at U.S. News & World Report, where he launched the daily Invested e-newsletter. His work has also appeared in The Motley Fool, InvestorPlace, and the Bank Administration Institute (BAI). He has made numerous media appearances as a stock market analyst and has served on panels to discuss personal finance and investing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Marshall University.
Patrick is also a lifelong sports enthusiast and currently serves as a varsity head baseball coach in Maryland.
