Ultra 10-Year T-Note Futures Market News and Commentary
Mar T-notes (ZNH20) on Wednesday closed up +6.5 ticks. The 10-year T-note yield fell -3.7 bp to 1.315%.
Mar T-note prices on Wednesday erased early losses and rallied to a new 3-1/2 year nearest-futures high, while the 10-year T-note yield fell to a new record low of 1.299% as China coronavirus concerns continue to mount. Confirmed cases of the China coronavirus have risen globally to 81,223 in more than 30 countries with a death toll of 2,771.
T-notes on Wednesday shook off early losses and rallied to the day's high when the S&P 500 tumbled to a 2-1/2 month low. Stocks tumbled after U.S. radio station 1010 WINS reported that health officials in New York are monitoring 83 people who have visited mainland China or have come in contact with the coronavirus.
