Welcome to Barchart Premier: Getting Started
Your Barchart Premier membership provides an ad-free layout (faster page loading, less distraction) plus options to further personalize your account. Once you've signed up, look for these options, found in your Site Preferences page:
Left side navigation
This preference allows you to identify whether side navigation should always be shown or hidden.
When viewing the site on your desktop computer, site navigation is visible in the left-hand column. At the very top of this column, you'll see a small blue arrow that can be used to temporarily collapse / expand the side navigation. This feature allows you to create more visible room on your desktop to view pages with Custom Views that may cause the page to scroll horizontally.

Default Watchlist on home page
Do you have a favorite watchlist you always want to show on the home page? This option allows you to select a specific watchlist, or allow the site to show your last viewed watchlist.
"Market on Close" Notifications
Premier Members can attend weekly live sessions every Friday at 2:30p CT with John Rowland, Barchart's Head of Trading Education. This toggle will show or hide reminders to register for these sessions when you login.
Default Number of Rows per Table
This option allows you to control pagination on the different devices you use to access Barchart.com. Pagination refers to the number of rows you will see on a data table on each page (the following example shows 100 rows per page:)

You can set paging options for the site when used on your desktop computer, tablet, and your mobile device. Please note that a higher row count (especially on tablet and mobile devices) will affect the performance when loading the page. Options are:
- 200 rows
- 100 rows
- 50 rows
- 25 row
Page Refresh Option
Allows you to change the page refresh rate. Barchart automatically refreshes pages every 20-minutes, all day, every day. Premier Members may choose between a 10, 20, or 60-minute refresh rate, or completely disable the refresh by selecting "None". In addition, if you've chosen a 10, 20, or 60-minute refresh, you can apply an additional refresh option:
- Always perform the refresh (all day, every day)
- refresh only during Futures Trading Hrs (Sun-Fri 5pm - 5pm CT)
- refresh only during Equities Trading Hrs (Mon-Fri 7am - 7pm ET)
