The Commitments of Traders (COT) is taken from the
Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) website
http://www.cftc.gov. For
more information on about, usage and times of update of the CFTC reports please
refer to the CFTC website. We make no claim to this information other than
we display the information as taken from the CFTC website.
The COT is available as a plot in the Custom Charts.
The first line is the Commercials which is the difference between the
Commercial Positions-Long (All) and the Commercial Positions-Short (All).
This is the red line on the chart and is field number 12 and 13
respectively in the input file from the CFTC.
The second line is the Large which is the difference between the
NonCommercial Positions-Long (All) and the NonCommercial Positions-Short (All).
This is the green line on the chart and is field number 9 and 10
respectively in the input file from the CFTC.
The third line is the Small which is the difference between the
NonReportable Positions-Long (All) and the NonReportable Positions-Short (All).
This is the blue line on the chart and is field number 16 and 17
respectively in the input file from the CFTC.
