Metals this morning are mixed. GCZ6 -4.0 (-0.30%), SIU6 +0.007 (+0.04%), HGU6 -0.001 (-0.02%) at a 2-1/4 month low. Monday's closes: GCZ6 +1.2 (+0.09%), SIU6 +0.117 (+0.63%), HGU6 -0.0040 (-0.19%). Metals on Monday settled mixed. Metals were boosted by weakness in the dollar and by comments from BOJ Governor Kuroda who said there's "ample space for additional easing," which boosted demand for precious metals as a store of value. Copper closed lower on signs of ample copper supplies after LME copper inventories last Friday climbed to a 10-month high of 271,575 MT.
