Metals prices this morning are higher: GCM5 +7.1 (+0.60%), SIK5 +0.134 (+0.86%), HGK5 +0.008 (+0.29%). Friday's closes: GCM5 -19.3 (-1.62%), SIK5 -0.114 (-0.72%), HGK5 +0.0540 (+2.00%). Jun gold and May silver on Friday fell to 5-week lows on reduced safe-haven demand with the rally in U.S. stocks and showed weakness despite Friday's decline in the dollar index. Copper prices closed higher on news that weekly Shanghai copper inventories fell -22,550 MT to a 2-month low of 208,285 MT, the biggest decline this year.
