Metals prices this morning are mostly higher: GCZ4 unch, SIZ4 +0.022 (+0.13%), HGZ4 +0.008 (+0.25%). Metals prices on Tuesday settled mixed. Closes: GCZ4 +1.4 (+0.12%), SIZ4 +0.269 (+1.64%), HGZ4 -0.0430 (-1.43%). Gold and silver rallied with Dec silver at a 3-week high after the dollar weakened and after the OECD said the ECB should expand stimulus, which spurred demand for precious metals as an inflation hedge. Dec copper fell to an 8-1/4 month low after LME copper inventories rose +1,350 MT to 163,200 MT, a 5-1/2 month high.
