(NYSE: EV) announced today that it has priced the previously announced public offering of $325 million aggregate principal amount of senior notes due June 15, 2023 (the "Senior Notes"). The Senior Notes will bear interest at the rate of 3.625% per year, payable on a semi-annual basis. The public offering is being made pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement on file with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") and is expected to close on June 25, 2013, subject to customary closing conditions. Eaton Vance Corp. (NYSE: EV) announced today a proposed public offering of ten-year senior notes (the "Senior Notes"). The public offering will be made pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement on file with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"). Eaton Vance intends to use the proceeds from the proposed public offering to fund the purchase, pursuant to its separately announced tender offer, for up to $250 million in aggregate principal amount of its outstanding 6.50% Senior Notes due 2017 (the "tender notes"), if consummated. Any remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
