The Association of Investors and Technical Analysts of the Capital Market (ATM) has sent a request to the president of the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM) in which it claims that Isabel dos Santos cannot withdraw the offer for PT SGPS, reports Lusa. On 23 December, Terra Peregrin, owned by Angolan businesswoman Isabel dos Santos, announced that it had decided to withdraw its offer for PT SGPS after careful consideration, after the CMVM rejected a request to exempt it from a rule that requires the bidding price to be at least the share's average price over the last six months. ATM believes Terra Peregrin should not have put conditions on the takeover bid for PT SGPS that depended on itself only, as was the case.
