Wheat futures are trading 8 to 14 cents higher in Chicago at midday. Japan bought 122,222 MT of milling wheat overnight of which 67,897 MT was specified US origin. USDA was expected to show net US weekly export sales of 400-700,000 MT for last week. USDA put the actual number at a strong 953,000 MT, including 239,400 MT of old crop. May 31 is the last day for old crop wheat to be shipped.

Jul 13 CBOT Wheat is at $7.02 1/2, up 14 cents,

Jul 13 KCBT Wheat is at $7.52 1/2, up 9 1/4 cents,

Jul 13 MGEX Wheat is at $8.14 1/2, up 6 3/4 cents
