Wheat futures are trading currently 2 to 4 3/4 cents higher on Wednesday morning, after settling 9 to 12 cents higher on Tuesday afternoon. Several contracts across all markets closed at their highest close since August 10. Iraq is tendering for 50,000 MT of wheat, seeking US, Canadian, Australian or Russian wheat. They bought Canadian wheat back in September. Japan is also tendering for 119,000 MT, with results expected on Thursday. Traders are looking for USDA to cut 2015/16 ending stocks to 828 million bushels on Friday, based on the smaller production in the Small Grains report and confirmed by the September 1 stocks figure.
