The Profile Builder - (2:25) January 8, 2013 After registering for the site, you will be presented with a short questionnaire the first time you log in, designed to help you build and complete your Barchart Profile. As a member of the Barchart Network, you will be able to connect with other traders, create your personalized news feed, share your symbol picks and recommendations, set price alerts, and much more. The Profile Builder will help you get started with many of these new features. The Feed (2:54) January 4, 2013 The feed is your customizable home page when you login to your Barchart account. Your personal market feed is used to display the latest news, your triggered price alerts, messages from your Barchart Connections, community votes on symbols you’ve shown an interest in, and symbols you’ve picked to follow. Social Features of Barchart Network (3:11) January 4, 2013 Comment and express your approval of items appearing on your feed. One of the easiest ways to get socially involved on Barchart is to post a “Market Talk” comment on your feed. Your Barchart Connections (3:14) January 7, 2013 Find new connections to add to your personal trading network on Barchart.com. This video covers how to set price Alerts, and the options you have once an alert has been triggered. Community Voting (3:04) January 4, 2013 Vote for your favorite stock, commodity, or any symbol on Barchart.com. Voting is a social feature of the site, performed from the quote page. You can "Vote" for any symbol, expressing whether you think that symbol will close Up or Down on the following trading day. Symbol Picks (2:25) January 4, 2013 Choose a hypothetical long or short position for a stock, commodity, or any symbol on Barchart, and then follow its progress.
