When charting any of the studies, the argument coloring is red, green then blue. For example, on a Moving Average chart [9, 18, 40], the 9 day would be the red line, 18 day would be the green line and the 40 day would be the blue line. The argument order is displayed on the chart next to the study name. Continuation ChartA continuation chart is a chart of a specific contract month throughout different contract years. To plot a continuation chart you need the commodity code and expiration month, but not the expiration year. Continuation charts are useful with commodities that trend differently in different contract months, such as grains, whereby growning seasons will remain constant from year to year, but individual yields will be different from year to year. |
