Corn futures are trading higher this morning with the weekly low coming within 6 cents of the December 2011 low this week on the continuation chart. June serial options expire today. Mexico, Canada and South Korea are in the market for their weekly corn tenders. The long range weather forecast is calling for a warmer and dryer pattern for the first week of June for most states west of the Mississippi River to the west coast. Gulf basis levels are lower. The U.S. dollar has rallied from lower values to the plus side, posting new contract highs for the third day this week. Crop ratings will be out on Tuesday following the Memorial Day holiday.
